Creative Director
I am a Creative Director and Art Consultant with over nine years of experience in the international hospitality industry. After several years working abroad, I returned to my hometown of Valencia to found Carruana Studio—a studio rooted in a distinct and personal vision of art.
With a background in both design and art, I bring together creative vision and a solid understanding of artistic processes to develop bespoke projects tailored to each client. My work is guided by authenticity, meaningful connections, and a strong conceptual approach.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with both boutique hotels and leading international hospitality brands, always with the same goal: to integrate art as an essential part of a space’s identity and experience. My role has encompassed everything from concept development and creative direction to artwork selection and on-site implementation, working closely with interior designers, clients, and artists.
Today, through Carruana Studio, I apply this experience by supporting interior design studios and boutique hotels in the creation of visual universes, moodboards, curatorial selections, and creative direction tailored to each space.
Recent projects include art direction for hospitality brands across North America, South America, and Europe.
The Studio
Carruana Studio is an art consultancy and creative direction studio based in Valencia. We collaborate with boutique hotels, interior designers, and corporate projects to integrate art through visual concepts, aesthetic narratives, and carefully curated selections that bring identity and character to every space.
Our experience across international projects allows us to understand the dialogue between art, architecture, and the guest experience, shaping proposals that elevate spaces and feel seamlessly embedded within their design.
Over the years, we have been involved in projects ranging from conceptual development to artwork selection and on-site implementation, working closely with creative teams, interior designers, and artists. This holistic understanding of the process is the foundation from which we advise on and lead the artistic direction of each project.
